ELEPHANTS
Elephants are the largest animals that live on land.
An adult elephant can weigh 6000 to 11000 pounds.
They do not eat meat. They like plants, fruit, bark, and
grass.
They use their long trunks to suck up water and spray it into their mouths. They also use their trunk to smell, touch things, and to talk to each other.
They can hear and smell very well but cannot see well.
Elephants live in many places such as forests, deserts, grasslands, and mountains.
