Most monkeys live in jungles. Many live in trees and some live on the ground.

Monkeys can climb and run and some can swing from branch to branch. They can use their fingers and toes to grab things and hold them.

Monkeys eat foods like berries, nuts, flowers, insects, and leaves.

They have to stay away from animals like cougars, big snakes, crocodiles, and leopards.

The biggest monkeys can be over three feet long and weigh over 75 pounds. Other kinds of monkeys are much smaller and can be just a few inches long and less than one pound.
